250/ 500/ 100 means $250,000 per person bodily injury/ $500,000 per accident bodily injury and $100,000 property damage. This is liability which means damage you cause to others. So, if you have an at fault accident and there are injuries and property damage, your policy will pay up to $250,000 per person for their bodily injury no matter how many people are injured (it looks like you are in a PIP state which pays the medical bills so this would likely not include medical depending on the PIP limits). Your policy will pay up to $500,000 in bodily injury total per accident no matter how many people are injured. They will also pay up to $100,000 in property damage no matter how many vehicles are damaged (or building, pole, etc). |
