Question: What is the average cost to add a 16 year old to auto insurance?

I am 16 and I am trying to get my parents to let me get my license and put me on the insurance, but they think it will cost to much. I know it will cost more, but I don't know how much and I have an A average at school and I am a girl so that has discounts. I asked the insurance place but they asked to many questions so if you have a rough estimate that would be great.

There is no average or estimate I could give you since there are too many variables. But all your parents need to do is call their agent and ask, and they will get a definite number.

There is no rough estimate, call your insurance agent and get an estimate from them, you need the type of car year of car and a bunch of other sh¡t so you might as well get an estimate from your local dealer, at least that will be more accurate than someone on Y!A
