Motorbike insurance quote £1202 (UK)!?
Could someone please let me know as to why my motorcycle quote is so high? I'm 18 years old and have recently passed my CBT. The bike I am purchasing is a 2009 YZF R125 with a value of 3000.My friends bike, a CBR125, only costs him somewhere around the 400 per year mark.I don't understand it... Thanks for any replies.
Why has my car insurance quote shot up overnight?
My renewal is on the 3rd October, so I've been already looking around for the cheapest deal.It was up until today 852.09 for 3rd party, Fire and Theft.However, today it has gone up to 1433.07...which is almost as much as last year.I've also noticed that the cheapest insurance provider the one that provided me with the 852.09 quote is no longer providing me with a quote, and that it's forcing me to have to go with the second lowest price...but all the other companies quotes have gone up as well...My birthday is next week as well, so I'm wondering if it has gone up to take advantage of the possibility of me having to buy new insurance cover or something?Really finding it hard to find the reason how the quotes can have gone up by so much over night with no change in my quote information at all My details 19 Years oldMale1 Years NCBPunto SportingThanks in advance

i am 23 no NCB held full uk licence for 2 year 8 months and i am a hire car driver so have alot of driver experience ie drive average of 10 vehicles a day from small cars to luxury 4x4s and vans got a quote for a v reg 1999 Peugeot 206 1.9 L Diesel 5 door for 1330.76 third party fire and theft is this a good quote or will i be able to get it down. i really want to buy this car so don't want to hear things like try a smaller engine etc thanks
Why do not at fault accedents effect my insurance quote so much?
So being 21 I am starting to quote and compare my own car insurance. My parents are planning on carrying me on theirs until I move out or turn 22 neither one will happen any time soon . I'm planning on going with Progressive because thats why we ue now and I like all my experiences with them. I've been playing around with the quote finder and figured out that my one speeding ticket adds $8 to my monthly payment, but my two not at fault accidents add $12 a piece. Which I dont understand because I wasn't the cause. My first accident will be three years ago in November and a guy backed into my parked car, the second accident happened about two and a half years ago when I was rear ended by a texting driver. My speeding ticket will be three years ago soon too. I plan on waiting till my ticket is dropped at the three year mark so then it won't be counted against me and save $8, does the same apply for accidents as well?I just dont think its fair haha.Thanks I don't get why I'm considered a " bad" driver though. I've only been involved in two accidents and they weren't my fault.

I'll be 16 and getting a car next year, and I just wanted to get some ideas on what I'd be looking at as far as insurance goes. Here are the cars I checked on.2005 Subaru Impreza WRX was quoted at $2209 for 6 months... 2005 Subaru Impreza RS was 1523 for 6 months. 2005 Chevy Cobalt SS SC was $1576 for 6 months. What would be some decent cars with cheaper rates then these? Just wondering. Thanks, I will choose a best answer.I had my dad call, on his policy. And the 2.5 RS is the normal impreza, only 173 hp sedan non turbo.

I am a 21 year old, married, female driver with no ncb and a fresh license only just passed .I'm looking to buy a Fiat Panda 2004, 1.2L automatic insurance group 2 ...the cheapest quote I've found for this car is 1300 and that was using moneysupermarket.comI've tried other search engines such as compare the market and go compare and insurance companies like diamond and sheila's wheels and have been quoted anywhere between 1600 and 3000 I've also tried adding my husband or my mum to the policies, but this only increases the price...Can anyone recommend any other site or insurance company to try?And please don't just comment to criticise on my choice of car as I'm not interested.
