Auto insurance quote with unreported accidents? What will happen?
A friend has 3 accidents in her driving record. She got an auto insurance quote without mentioning any accidents. The company sold her the insurance without any further verifications.Is that a big problem? In case of an incident in the future will the company check her records and create any problems like not approving claims or so? Should she just ask for a refund to prevent further problems. What is the worst that can possibly happen? We are kind of newbies here. Please advise...

Car insurance quote dispute! What can I do?
To make a long story short, I was quoted a price for car insurance for my 2 cars from a broker. I told her I would sign on for the insurance for the quote she gave me. She sent me an email with papers to sign off on with only 1 car on it. I called her and she told me she made a mistake and will add the the other car. I asked her what the price difference was and she told me little to nothing after she she checked on her system . I got a letter a month later stating that the price of my insurance was $300 more than the quote. I cancelled right away explaining that wasn't the quote I got. I then later got a letter stating that I was going to be taken to collections if I don't pay $875 for being insured for 30 days, which is the cancellation fee which is 15 % of the premium.The insurance company is telling me that I agreed to the contract by signing on for the insurance regardless if it was a different quote. How can I fight this?...PLEASE HELP Barry Thanks for responding. Well, to answer your questions, I have 1 recent speeding ticket on my record and that's the only thing on my record. I do not have performance cars, and I'm in my mid 30's. I've been dealing with this particulary broker for a few years, but recenlty I was dropped by my previous insuracne company due to getting this one ticket. The broker found me this insuracne company and now since she knows there is a problem, she does not return my calls. I have spoken to her boss and I just keep getting told that I have to speak to the broker and the only way that the fee can be waved or even discussed in regards to cutting it down, is that the broker herself has to admit she made a mistake, which she will not do because the fee will then come out of her personal pocket.

Motorcycle insurance quote - Progressive?
I only need insurance on my bike for like a week and progressive only gives me the option to either pay the full 12 month cost $255 up front now OR 2 payments a year which is $135 up front right now. Im not paying $135 when im only going to be riding it for a week...?Should i tell them that im only going to have insurance on it for a week? And will they refund all my money back?

I have a provisional license and I receive my first car in a few days. I want to get insured to drive it and I've entered that I only have a provisional license on the quote. I want to pay an annual premium to get the best deal, however I'm going to have a full UK license in just a few months time. Why are my insurance quotes outrageous?
I am trying to get a quote on a 2002 Subaru WRX 4 door sedan. The car has around 66000 miles on it. I am thinking about buying it and trying to get an idea of total mothnly payments. Every insurance website I go to is giving me crazy quotes that are around 600 1000$ a month. I am 18 years old but I know for a fact even for an 18 year old that is alot of money for insurance. I was thinking maybe around 300 a month not over 600.Even when I quoted my current car. I drive a 1999 Honda Civic DX but it is under my parents insurance so its only like 70 a month. But if i wanted to put it in my name the quotes where like 500 800 a month.And actually i know for a fact that those quotes are very high. Because I friends that are my age who pay no where near that price and the insurance is under their name. My friend drives a 2003 Lancer Evolution. That car is alot faster than a WRX and he pays 350 a month and he is 18. Had his license for the same amount of time and has totaled a car and got numerous speeding tickets. I havent gotten one ticket but I was in one accident but i was not at fault.

I am 25, past my test about 12 month ago and just recently bought my first car and i need to get some insurance started as of tomorrow.I went to the Direct Line website for a quote.For just me to be insured it was 900.For me and my husband who has been driving for over a decade with no claims or convictions etc to both be insured on the same car it was 800.I'm a bit confused why it cost so much less for two people to be insured instead of just one.Does it sound right to you or is the 800 quote supposed to be per person?Thanks

Was thinking about buying a car first car just to run around in for a while before I actually buy a better one when im older but want to ask a question.
